School of Liberal Studies
Established in 2009, the School of Liberal Studies aims to nurture the
highly qualified professionals to meet the needs of modern society.
Students belong to this school during their first year. While learning from a
variety of major subjects in Humanities and Social Science and attending Major Exploring Programs
etc., students have opportunities to search for their proper major considering their aptitudes and
abilities.
Accordingly, at the end of first year, students are allowed to feel free to choose their major among
13 departments in Humanities and Social Science. At the same time, they may choose to pursue double major corresponding with the goal of this school:
nurturing cross-disciplinary professionals.
In the second year of studies, students belong to department they chose and proceed to
the degree of B.A. according to the specialized curriculum of the specific department.
