School of Cross-disciplinary Studies
In order to meet complicated and diverse needs of this society, it is necessary to
cooperate with many other studies rather than just one specific major.
The School of Cross-disciplinary Studies was newly established in 2016 for the purpose of nurturing
talented individuals who have a creative thinking ability to define and solve problems with integrative
perspectives and practical qualifications.
Students are able to learn new knowledge and foster their qualified professionalism needed in this
society through the education of cross-disciplinary studies.
Through the cooperation of many other departments and schools in this university and students'
participation, various cross-disciplinary studies are developed and managed in the School of
Cross-disciplinary Studies.
With regard to the major field of cross-disciplinary study, it is offered only to those who are
students in this university by way of double major.
Also, students who belong to the school can complete the studies by way of one general major and
one cross-disciplinary major.
Graduates of this school have an opportunity to go to graduate school or enter into
society as talented people who can define and solve problems with an integrative perspective.
